"Well, it’s been a year today since I embarked on my journey to my new home. I cannot thank Alyssa more, for her authentic and loving care ,in the sale of my home. She became like family. Alyssa listened to all my heart desires and understood as time went on with the sale of my home, that it was not a typical sale per se. She understood my heart after living in my home for 40 years. It was important to me, that the little home my husband and I raised our children in be passed onto another family to do the same. It is a unique neighborhood in which I lived. Our first attempt of putting it on the market did not bring forth that little family and due to health issues, I took the house off the market. But Alyssa worked behind the scenes, she kept her feelers out, stayed open and found that little family. Their needs were met I believe, as were mine. If it had not been for her unique style and expertise, I do not believe things would’ve gone as seamlessly as they did. As I said, I lived in my home for 40 years and selling it was not an easy decision, but the pieces fell into place, and she guided me every step of the way. "As long as Alyssa is in the real estate business we'll be choosing "her" to represent us! We started hunting for our first home in 2020 shortly after the new year began. We were brand new to the experience of home shopping and had quite a bit to learn. The few local realtors we contacted in the beginning were all perfectly pleasant, and professional for the most part. But, we were never able to truly "connect" with them in a way that felt "right" or like it was a great fit for us which is really what you want when making such a big first-time investment. We had already heard wonderful things about Alyssa from our friends who she had helped find their home. So, our friends connected us to Alyssa, and that's when things really started to shift! Right away upon meeting her and her family, the communication was fun and effortless! When looking at houses with her we never felt rushed, or that she had another appointment to get to that we might be holding her up from. Honestly, we felt like her only client! Another important way Alyssa shines is in her patience, and choosing to take her time to educate the people she's working with! As first-time home buyers, we had a lot of questions, and she handled all of our inquiries so gracefully even though she had probably answered those questions hundreds of times with her other clients. Lightning finally struck when I found a property that was coming onto the market "soon". This house was a little higher in price than we had been looking at but it was still within our loan approval range. It had everything we wanted it was perfect! So, we crunched the numbers and decided to check it out. As usual, Alyssa was totally on it, and scheduled a viewing of the home for the upcoming weekend while the owners were out of state viewing their new home they'd be moving into once their home here sold. Again, the home wasn't even on the market yet but the timing was right! We were one of just a few families to tour the home that weekend, and we fell in love with it! We went straight home to decide on our offer. The following day we gave Alyssa our offer, and she did the rest. I believe it was within 48 hrs of our official offer that Alyssa came back to inform us that after over a year of searching for a home that started in Sonoma County but then stretched to Utah, Arizona, Idaho, Southern California, then finally back to Sonoma County the sellers of the home we fell in love with had accepted! Shopping for a home is an exhausting journey. But, Alyssa made things so easy and enjoyable for us! We can't imagine not living in our wonderful home she helped us find! And although we don't plan to enter the home-buying arena anytime soon if we ever have to do this again we can't imagine doing it without Alyssa! As long as Alyssa is in the real estate business we'll be choosing her!"
